SURVIVOR Big Dog Leads

Oversized style for oversized dogs! The biggest, burliest nylon leads available.

Available in the same wide, soft, high grade nylon webbing as our SURVIVOR Harnesses, the SURVIVOR Leads offer ultimate strength over 2000 lbs. and unique style. The only 1 1/2" wide leads we know of on the market, they compliment our 2" wide harnesses and are sure to be noticed. Yes, they are big, heavy and beefy - for the true big dog enthusiast!

The COMMANDER Grab Handle™ version includes a smoothly integrated 2nd Handle for extra control, it can more then double the handler's strength and easily keep the dog at close quarters.

The COMMANDER Grab Handle EASY PULL Flex Cord version adds a dual 10" section of EASY PULL Pull Flex Cord™. The cord expands to 16" to greatly reduce the shock of a pulling dog without sacrificing control. The combination of these features create an innovative product that offers an unexpectedly improved dog handling experience.

NOTE: These leads are exceptionally comfortable for strong handlers with strong dogs (especially when broken in), but individuals with smaller hands may prefer the lighter weight CHAMPION Classic Leads™ and COMMANDER Leads™, they can also be used with the SURVIVOR Harness™.

SURVIVOR Big Dog Leads™ feature:

Dual-ply construction - for a substantial, leather-like feel uncommon for nylon leads. This provides resistance to twisting up, chafing, and chewing.

"Bull Snap" swivel hook - Commonly used for horse and livestock applications - 2000 lbs. rating! The 4 oz weight is a subtle way to let your dog know who is boss - it really works! Opens wide to easily fit over both rings of the CHAMPION and SURVIVOR Harnesses for a stylish look and extra secure attachment. (some leashes will only fit on one ring) It will of course work great with any collar or harness.

Inset Handle Design - provides a smooth feel with no rough cut webbing ends, makes a great-looking leash. The black inset contrasts with colors for style.

Optional Grab Handle - provides a second handle seamlessly integrated into the leash near the Bull Snap. This gives the handler remarkable control even with huge dogs.

The COMMANDER version is about 40" long, about 8" shorter then the standard SURVIVOR Lead. This makes it easy to grab the lower handle quickly when your dog is pulling, and provides a little extra control when using the main handle. It's also easy to hold in one hand when using the lower handle - due to 2-ply construction and the compact design it forms a nice loop (see photo below). They are great for use with SURVIVOR Harnesses, or combine with the COMMANDER Limited Slip Training Collar™ or SURVIVOR XXX Collar™ to help train your dog not to pull.

These leads are available with an optional EASY PULL™ Dual Flex Cord extension built in to the lead. The cords expand 6" to greatly reduce the shock of a pulling dog without sacrificing control. The combination of these features create an innovative product that offers an unexpectedly improved dog handling experience.

A dual section of 3/8" EASY PULL Flex Cord is built in to the end of the lead to greatly reduce shock to you and your dog.

NOTE: We also offer an EASY PULL 10" Extension that will add this feasture to any of the above leads, however due to the "bull snap" it adds considerable weight to the lead - so we offer the built in option. If your dog chews leads or you expect to use the lead in fields or brush you may want to consider the extensions instead, as under these sonditions the flex cords will not last as long as the lead.

NOTE: The elastic tension on the SURVIVOR EASY PULL Leads is high - twice as much as the COMMANDER Leads™. It's great for strong individuals handling strong dogs - but many handlers will prefer the softer pull of the CHAMPION Classic Style COMMANDER Leads™.
